A little garden of roses there were,
and two men were among them.
The first man exclaimed,
"All of these roses are so beautiful!"
So he took as many as he could
and placed them around his home.
Each day he would pick one rose and exclaim,
"Oh! What a beautiful rose you are!"
And the rose would be happy.
And the next day, the man would go to another rose,
and he would exclaim,
"Oh! What a beautiful rose you are!"
And that rose would be happy.
But the first rose would feel sad,
because she knew now that the man felt the same way torwards her
as he did every other rose.
The second man in the garden looked around.
He studied ea
I'd like to use myself to change
The world in little ways.
I'd like to use my heart to say
"I love you", everyday.
I know that many think I'm small,
and even immature.
I know that I've a ways to go
Before I'm good for sure.
But...
It doesn't matter how I look,
Or what the world may say,
I'll stretch these arms as wide I can
And change the world today.
I'll pour my heart to empty ones
And fill them up again.
I know that God is with me and
He's holding tight my hand,
He holds me close,
He whispers in my ears,
"Thank you, darling daughter,
Now my children smile once more,
And I could never say this
Once too many-
I love yo
The sun beats down
On the open sea
Oh, the open sea,
The open sea.
It shines and ripples
Bright blue gems
As in my mind, I see.
Gliding, flying sea-wings
Our boundaries are but not.
The endless sky
The endless sky,
Oh the endless sky.
To seek are we some treasure
For this is what we do,
The salty ocean breeze like spice
So sweet and welcome
On my tongue;
This is the pirates life.
Mr. Cheese
Is green, if you please
From staying out
All night.
He never thought
That he would rot -
Hes just a piece of cheese,
Geez laweez.
So now hes all but known,
All alone.
All alone
Left
To moan.
A thousand words could never speak
The glory of your grace,
A thousand smiles could not compare
The beauty of your face.
Your warmth is like the summer sun
Upon my reddened cheeks,
Your touch is like the crystal waters
Trickling through a creek.
Your voice is sung through lovebirds
Where April blossoms grow,
Your heartbeat is the ocean waves
Upon the pounding shore.
You dance to the rhythm of the aged stars,
The chorus of the night;
While all the world celestial, sleep,
You dance along the moonlight.
I feel you in the air I breathe,
Fresh and cool and crisp and sweet.
A river of love flow through these veins
Your life in mi
These words I say aren't written in a book.
The things I do for you
Why do you always overlook?
Search past my nervousness and hesitation
Being open they never taught as education.
You look at me but do you really see?
You think you know but that's not really me.
Give me time to show you,
Just a little bit of time to show you
Who I am.
I'm reaching out to you,
But you stand so far away
Or is it that I'm holding back,
Still clung to yesterday?
Please don't walk away,
I'll love you forever and a day.
Please stay,
Don't walk away.
You look at me but do you really see?
You think you know but that's not really me.
Give me time
I seek upon the starry wind
The answer to my plea.
Mine eyes have searched the road ahead
Where storm clouds hide the sea -
A sea upon which wishes sail
As pirates living free.
A beating heart stays ever hollow
Searching for the truth,
The north star to my quest in life
Before this end of youth.
Will I not find the answer that
The words of man make blind?
I seek to grow an oak tree
From the seedling of my mind
Where is the rain that
Quenches thirst,
The sun that gives me hope?
The soil in my heart to rest,
From heaven, hale rope?
A blinding scarf of darkness
Cloaks the empty years.
Break through with strength -
See
